Artwork should be submitted to us in PDF format, minimum 300 dpi.

Print-ready files are artwork files that contain all fonts and images (all linked images should be embedded)
and are 100% ready to print, requiring no additional adjustments.
Please note that if you have an artwork file in any other format, we encourage you to create a high resolution PDF file.

Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint fields are generally not appropriate formats for artwork.
Microsoft Word is acceptable if we are printing a text document.  If you have used special fonts in your Microsoft document that we do not have, font subsitution may occur and the document we print may not match your original.  Excel is acceptable if we are printing spreadsheets.  Please set sheet size print specifications for large spreadsheets.  PowerPoint presentations are not printable.

PDF files for items that will be imposed for printing should be in dimensionally correct PDF files.  For example a 3" x 5" card without bleeds should be provided as a 3" x 5" PDF file, not as 3" x 5" artwork centered on an 8.5" x 11" sheet.

Text and fonts can be converted to curves or outlines.  Please keep in mind that when you convert your type to curves or outlines we are unable to edit it or make changes or corrections.

We are not responsible for proofing your artwork that is sent to print.  We will point out or correct problems that we see, but you are responsible for proofing your own work.  If we do design work for you, your approval of the final version of the document is your acceptance of the work as is.

Just a note about finished pieces:  For clarity, we prefer to discuss jobs in terms of "finished pieces".  If you tell us you need 500 flyers, we could interpret that as 500 finished pieces or 500 press sheets (which would be 1,000 finished pieces).  When artwork is provided "two up" (two on a sheet) be sure to request amounts in terms of finished pieces.
